Questions people ask
How do I work out a discount?
Price × (1 − discount). 25% off $80 is $80 × 0.75 = $60.
Do two discounts add up?
No. 20% off then 10% off is 28% off, not 30%, because the second comes off the already-reduced price.
Is tax on the original or the sale price?
On the sale price you actually pay. In the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and the UAE prices already include VAT or GST.
